This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It covers what you may and may not do with jarvisreport.com. It is short on purpose.
Checking how businesses appear to AI answer engines and public directories, and deciding what to fix. Checking your own business, your clients' businesses, and your competitors' public presence are all fine — that information is public either way.
Every report costs us money in AI provider fees. Rate limits exist for that reason, not to be difficult. If you need higher volume, email support@jarvisreport.com and ask — that is a cheaper conversation for both of us than an enforcement one.
This matters more here than in most products, because a report is a timestamped snapshot of non-deterministic systems and is easy to misuse.
You may not use the service to build a competing dataset, train a model on our outputs, or bulk-generate reports for redistribution. Reading our public pages, including with an AI assistant, is fine.
We monitor for abuse at the level of traffic patterns and account behaviour. Where we can, we will warn you and give you a chance to stop. For serious or repeated breaches, or anything that puts the service or other users at risk, we may suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice.
We may also remove content, refuse service, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
If you see someone misusing the service or misrepresenting our data, or you have found a security issue, email support@jarvisreport.com. For security reports, please give us a reasonable window to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly. We will not pursue anyone acting in good faith who reports a vulnerability responsibly.
We may update this policy. The date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
